Adaptations

Today I spoke with Shannon Wright about my spacial emergency. She suggested only using part of the room and making the part I do use the focus. I am not sure how I feel about that. For me that solution does not transcend the space. Actually the more I think about it - it places the work neatly packaged in the white cube. This is interesting conceptually because I have been thinking a lot about the way games are packaged in general, however, I'm not sure I want that aesthetic for this exhibition. I need to bounce some ideas off people and attempt to figure out my game plan for installation given that my show is looming near.
